Scuba Diving at Inland Dive Centres in Scotland

Antique suit diver, Fort William

Located on a salt water loch called Loch Linnhe, the Underwater Centre at Fort William is primarily a commercial diver training centre offering multi-depth dives to up to 150 metres. the dive sites are sheltered from the open sea so diving can be done in nearly all weathers. Aside from commercial diver training, the centre also caters for sports divers and offers something a little different to the normal inland sites around the UK. There are wrecks, armoured personnel carriers, a tank and drift dives available, providing dive site choices for all levels of diver. Plenty of sea life is found within the confines of the loch and dive guides can be booked to show you around.

Bookings must be made to ensure a member of staff is available to look after you and prices start at £25 per person per day. It is also possible to book dives in a hot-water suit, have a dive with a surface supplied helmet or even try out an antique standard suit under full supervision.
