Dive Site: The Snoopy

Location: Fort William

Description: Barge

Length: 45 metres (148 feet)

Depth: 55 metres (180 feet)

Visibility: 10 - 15 metres (30 - 50 feet)

The deepest wreck the Underwater Centres' site at 55 metres. The Snoopy is 120 metres from the pier and is accessed from the centres boat only. She is 45 metres long and stands upright with her decks 6 metres off the loch floor. The Snoopy is an old barge with many open compartments. Perfect for more advanced divers looking for a safe environment to explore at depth.
