Description: Deep sea fishing trawler

Length: 40 metres (131 feet)

Depth: 45 - 55 metres (148 - 180 feet)

Visibility: 10 - 15 metres (30 - 50 feet)

Truly a great dive. The Magnificent is an old deep sea fishing trawler last registered in Peterhead. She is 40 metres long and lies on a sloping bottom between 45 and 55 metres. She is upright and fully intact with trawler wheels, engine room, bridge (including chairs), masts, accommodation and propeller. Access is from our pier by boat only. Definitely for the more experienced divers. Well worth a little extra planning for this dive.
