As Portugal's number one tourist destination, Albufeira boasts a dazzling array of excellent restaurants, bars and nightspots with plenty of live music venues catering to a wide variety of tastes from Portuguese folk music to the latest dance floor anthems. During the wonderfully long, warm, Algarvian summer nights, the community comes alive in an exuberant display of sound, colour and activity.

Luxurious days spent on the beach may be punctuated by taking one of the many boat trips along the neighbouring coast to discover unique and magical ocean-carved coves, inaccessible by land. Alternatively, Albufeira offers a grand selection of water sports and activities from paragliding to jet skies and of course scuba diving.
