Dive Site: Qawra Far Reef

Location: Malta

Description: Reef

Depth: 22 - 40 metres + (72 - 130 feet)

Visibility: 20 metres (65 feet)

Rating: ****

A slightly longer trip than for Qawra Reef as access is by boat, but it's worth the effort. This is a dive for the more experienced deep diver as the reef starts at 22 metres and the bottom is in excess of 40 metres. Excellent water clarity and some special features are the attraction. Barracuda and larger fish species are often sighted.
