Reader Reviews:

Dive Site: Carless Reef

Location: Hurghada

Description: Offshore reef

Depth: 10 - 30 metres (30 - 100 feet)

Visibility: 20 metres (65 feet)

Rating: ****

This is the first time I have ever done this reef in three trips to Hurghada. I'd heard the rumours about it being dead due to an attack of crown of thorns starfish but that was years ago now (1998 I think). I first dived Hurghada in 1999. I was pleasantly suprised - nice health soft corals several nice ergs etc... made for a nice pottering dive and one marked off the list that I'd not done before.
