Dive Site: Littlehampton Drift
Location: Just out from Littlehampton Marina
Description: Drift
Depth: 12 metres (40 feet)
Visibility: 6 metres (20 feet)
Rating: ***
Many skippers will drop you off on a drift as a second dive when you have been hard boat diving from Littlehampton. The diving is by no means awesome, but it makes a nice finish to the day. Expect to see crabs, sea slugs, anemones and dogfish.
Depending on what drift you do either Kingsmere or Waldrons both make a good drift with lots to see. I’ve done Waldrons loads of times and seen all sorts of life, spider crabs, edibles, dogfish, even a male lumpsucker in the past. Always a good second dive!
