Dive Site: Napoleon Reef / Lhosfushi Corner

Location: South Male Atoll

Description: Reef / drift

Depth: 54 metres + (177 feet)

Visibility: 20 metres (65 feet)

As you drop into the blue there is a bit of a swim to the reef, where I dropped down to 54 metres [please note that in the Maldives divers are limited to 30m when diving - Editor]. As I climbed back up the reef wall to 10 metres I soon saw a turtle, a few napoleon wrasse and a moray right out of his hole. There were also lots of lone white-tip sharks. This is a good drift dive; the current is strong enough to pull you over the top of the reef.
